I voted for this because it stars three future presidents of the United States. It cured cancer and stopped global warming. This movie invented the Internet. It is not a robot. The riffs are spot-on, the movie is surprisingly watchable, and the hose segments are classics. THIS, IMHO, is the best episode of the series, and a shining example of what the show is about.

Can we take a moment to recognize Helena Dalli who plays Maria? She's a Miss World participant. She acted in this one movie next to Mr. Joey "Go Ahead On", And since '96 she's rep'd in the Maltese Parliament and as a cabinet member. Daaang! Yesterday I remembered to trim my toenails. Aww yeah.

Even though Pod People was the very first episode I ever saw of MST3K way back in college in the 90s, it's been on Turkey Day before. Final Justice and MALTA deserve to shine.

I haven't seen Pod People yet but the support it's gotten has got me curious about it. I voted for this one though because I watch Joe Don Baker movies and I think this one is as good as Mitchell.

I think Pod People just gets played a little too much, I know it too well, whereas there are lots of parts of Final Justice I feel like I could watch again right now. Turkey Day needs deeper cuts too.
