ReplyThis was my first ever MST3K episode, and I was hooked from that moment on.
ReplyThe greatest of the Russo-Finnish trifecta, and one of my favorite episodes of all time. Like Sword and the Dragon, the production values are pretty good, even if the rest of the movie makes no sense.
ReplyClassic Comedy Central episode, one of the awesome bizarre Russo-Finnish films, a true example of what great riffing can do to an already over the top peculiar movie.
Reply"Are you with the bride or the failure?" The whole "Failure" bit is one of the best in the whole of MST3K!

ReplyHard pick! On the one hand, Pearl is my favorite Mad, and I think Hobgoblins is a really fun movie. But The Day The Earth Froze has my vote because Crow's riffs are so good in this episode.
