I love Prince of Space and have seen it many times, but I'm not sure if I've ever watched Village of the Giants

Prince of Space is great, in fact I like it very much, but I've seen it way more times then VotG. Lets get the underdog in here.

The teen stereotypes written by middle-aged men may be grating, but they give more material to work with than the absolute nothing that is most of the characterization in Prince of Space. General Krankor is the only entity with any personality at all, and his is basically just from the laugh.

one of my favorites. Bridges and Howard, sure but also the Beau Brummels and Toni Basil dancing her little heart out. Plus the tiniest mock-fried-chicken ever!

Comedy Central over Sci-Fi. The duo are swell episodes. The Tommy Kirk, Beau Bridges, and Ron Howard casting cross the checkered flag first. Huge teenagers and 60s mishmash? Heaped with Dr. F and TV's Frank? " This oozes a blast.

Prince of Space is clearly the disappointing, disowned son of Space Ghost. And in honor of Space Ghost, we must mock PoS for eternity.

ReplyPrince of Space is so Iconic, it was even referenced back in Neptune Men, complete with a guest appearance by Crank Whore... I mean, Krankor himself to lighten the mood! How could I say no to that Misty classic??

ReplyPerhaps the best of the Japanese films the crew riffed. Bawk bawk!
ReplyEvery character is a jewel, the special effects are just wonderfully bad, and of the course that thing in so many Japanese monster movies - the little kids allowed to run around wherever they want, interfering with everything.
