So do webwe it doesn't stop hubby from going ALL out. Lights inside and out,w and a small tree. If it were up to me I would just do one strand of lights.

We ignore most holidays and don't ever decorate at all. Mostly, i find them inconvenient.

I decorated the last year my Mother was alive. She loved decorating for Christmas. She was delighted how it looked! I'm single and it doesn't matter much to do it without her coming by to see it.

What goes up must come down and be put away. Tastefully minimal.

We have a tree and a few decorations inside. Porch lights on a dusk sensing timer.

People have leftover candy?! Not in my house. I'm always relieved if there's some left for the trick-or-treaters.

My coworkers can't wait until after Halloween when I bring in the leftover candy. I enjoy watching the smiles.

I make daily and weekly resolutions (goals) and meet those. It’s also less stressful and fulfilling this way.

I do my best to make resolutions throughout the year so I don't see the need to make a special one when the ball drops at the start of a new year.

I found that I only seem to remember them at the end of the year, then it's a mad rush to lose weight, give more to charity, etc.
