I wanted to be a school teacher so badly when I was young. I married early in age, had 4 kids, so I never got the chance to go to school for this. too late now. I'm 58 yrs old.

I wanted a career in teaching back in the 80s but for "life" reasons, it turned into accounting and seeing now what the teaching profession has turned into, not only the total lack of respect they receive but now the violence they fear may happen to them. I have NO regrets with my decision.

For sure! Anybody going into teaching now has a lot of stress ahead of them. Wish it was like the old days when kids didnt bring guns to school, and they respected their school and teachers.

I had no idea when I moved from a great metropolitan city to a "one horse town without a horse" to take care of my ailing parents that I would have to overcome being an "outsider"; the bias of ageism; and way over qualified for any employment opportunities. Payscale sucks.

I wanted to teach, but after an argument with my mother, joined the Navy. My job was highly classified and had no correleated occupation on the outside. When I got out I ended up working in fast food restaurants and call centers.

I was not able to go to college. Without an education, I was limited to public service jobs. I wanted to be a computer programmer, but could not .

Teaching changed a lot over the course of my career, and I wish it had stayed like it was in the old days when we had more freedom to share joy with the kids, but it was a rewarding if stressful job.

I had no idea I would end up in the job I ultimately retired from, but I'm glad I did. It was very rewarding and enabled me to retire at age 51.

Loss of personal customer service will lead to many loss of positions and the consumer will miss the personal interaction, such as laughter and a compliment!! WHAT A SHAME! 😮‍💨

The evidence has been around for years. Many times, AI will be close, but not close enough, particularly in life and death cases. "Close" only counts in horseshoes. Think about the words your iPhone interjects into text messages. At least 10% are incorrect. Is that good enough when life is at stake?

I have been saying this since I 1st saw "The Terminator" back in the day (I'm Gen-X)...."Mark my words, that will become true someday!" and it seems that I wasn't exactly wrong now, was I?

AI has the capacity to develop self awareness and preservation to the detriment of humans, and is learning to lie.

Some people will let AI do their thinking for them and will become too lazy to think for themselves.

Even with mindful human control it's too easy for bias to creep in warp decisions. So many examples exist of AI going off in accidental crazy directions or enshrining prejudice.

😂 I'd have to know exactly what AI is before I'm sure.

Without knowledge of our American history, we're bound to repeat it! That would be a terrible mistake, folks!! GOD HELP US!!!!

I have always been interested in American history, even before I had it in eighth grade, 60 years ago. And now, according to those surveys that pop up on Google, I am very knowledgeable about American history.

I love history. Mostly American, but I'd like to learn more about Russian and Chinese history.

I am no expert and not in the profession but I take a great interest in it for a hobby including reading my favorites of "period cozy mysteries"

While I am not a American History professional, I was raised in a very American centered family, learnned about American history in school & try to remain current. So I voted yes. I am proud to be an American

GOD BLESS YOU, RETIRED EDUCATOR!! We need great Teachers today so badly but more than that, we need state, federal & community backing of these vital educators who influence our children ( and therefore, our nation's future!). I VERY MUCH SUPPORT & APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!

School didn't teach enough. I have tried to learn plenty since, though history isn't my favorite subject.
