Just got back from Barcelona and Paris. Of course, we're retired, so life is a permanent staycation.

I PREFER vacations but I have only been able to do staycations for the past few years due to the last so-called president's horrible attack on working class people's money!

I never had extra money to take us away on vacations, so I took time off when school was out and did things within driving distance of the house. After the kids were grown, I mostly did the same, I was happy and did not feel the need to travel.

Mostly staycations. I do like maybe one vacation a year. Short one!

I actually prefer lemonade, but I gave up soda a decade ago and my health has improved tremendously!

Don't need the sugar, artificial sweeteners or the cost of soda any time of year. Iced tea - especially green tea - is good for you and keeps you hydrated well at virtually no cost.

if I'm out for a meal it's usually half and half tea, but I'm mostly drinking water all the time

Too many times a call is either not answered or is answered by a robot. Might as well just leave a message instead of trying to negotiate a maze of instructions.

A phone call however in today's technology environment is becoming more difficult to get a human on the phone.

better because you can get all questions asked, if a "real" person answers
