Yes! And the minute they come back stop them in there tracks and not let them set up again. This will eliminate future sweeps.

They shouldn't be there in the first place. Camps should only be allowed outside of city limits. Sweep away!

Maybe ppl will get tired of having to move enough that they will opt for a temporary shelter in a building or 1 of those single-bed homes like they are building in Portland. Saw on the news last night. tiny house with room for sgl bed and the "village" has community bathrooms and is managed onsite.

Triage housing services based on priority and need, overall people need to be willing to seek mental health support, abide by curfew and no drugs and no alcohol and rules like no pets, then, based on need first families with kids, then elderly then other adults

As long as it brings with it some accountablity. If the point in time numbers come down over 2 years, great. If not, she should be fired.

Anyone who uses the word houseless is full of it to start with. One of the many people who make a living by saying all the right things and doing almost nothing.

It's a clever way to spend tax money. That's about all.

No, you can't help people if they don't want it. Houseless are pretty much doing what they want, legally or not.

As long as the homeless are respectful in their mannerisms then Yes. If they are disrespectful to the community then get rid of them.

The ones of you voting no have probably never had to deal with being homeless before. You should try it and then come back and revote.

It's about time to bring back the old county infirmary or poor farm for the county’s indigent citizens. Past time.

Pan handling is more lucrative in public places. The City needs to quit enabling these people. The homeless have their own lives to destroy, but not the innocent people around them. I am not being mean, I am being honest.

Most of these panhandlers actually make more money than most of us. Plus it's tax free.
