I mean after seeing Thanos become a Ravager already the thought had to be that by saving Tony & getting close to him, Killmonger would become the hero we all wish he could have been. Heck I even thought he might become Iron Man! Never saw saving Stark as the missing piece to successfully executing his plan from Black Panther & I'm not mad, I loved it! Stark never becoming a hero would create a chance for Killmonger to be good was just pure genius writing!

AC Bradley has proven already that she keeps the core essence of these characters there. So even though Thanos doesn't become the Mad Titan, his core values (wanting to save the universe, albeit messed up before meeting T'Challa) remained the same. So you'd have to assume the same here for Killmonger, and without Stark becoming Iron Man, he's no T'Challa to turn a man good. The episode was pure genius and I'm glad they kept Killmonger the villain, I hope we get to see him again!
