I am a US NAVY SeaBee VET!!!

I am honored to tell you about the Veteran in my immediate family. His name is Terrance William Frank - "Terry" - I call him Dad. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War as a Radioman.

My dad was a WWII Army Air corp vet.

My brother in law was the first soldier killed from Bend in The Viet Nam war on Oct 22 1966. His name was Don Darnall . My sister Phyllis Darnall has been a Widow for 53 years. She never remarried..

A husband and a son.

My father Charles Alfred Zehner ...Navy USS Breton....dob 1 8 1921, died 1 28 1996. My brother..Charles Alferd Zehner Jr..... USCGC Morgenthau WHEC 722.... dob 8 23 1952, died 9 13 2006. I miss them😥

My dad served in the Coast Guard during WWII. He worked in the engine room, walked shore patrol and towed targets for the Navy ships practicing shooting.

My Dad was in the Air Force for 26 years

My Dad, Uncle, Nephews, my Grandfathers, plus friends, all served.

My husband was in the Navy, then Marine Corpsman in the Korean War. He recently passed in May.

Granda came from Ireland . As soon as he got citizenship he joined the Army, then my father joined, then me, followed by my son. Granda said if we're going to live here, we have to do our part.

Yes I understand its a concern, Just when you look at the problem you see most of the trash is coming from other places then the USA.

How could anyone not being concerned about this major source of food for our fishermen and local economies? We have to reign in the pollution with reduction of plastic bags and with regard for sealife

There is a floating landfill called trash island that is almost the size of Texas. Miles and miles of trash.

This is a global problem regardless of the source. Biodiversity is essential ...for live (HUMANS too), we have to protect the place that gives life.

It's a mess

It's the engine that the planet runs on!

As well as all the radiation coming from fukashima.

How can any sane, intelligent person not be concerned when we see a "garbage island" the size of Rhode Island in the middle of the Pacific; when we see dolphins ensnared in netting, etc.?

It is a sad day when you see the pollution that is in the ocean and on beaches. Please clean up and carry out !!
