No, not my problem!
I think river restoratation would be more beneficial in the long term for Bend taxpayers (rate payers) than continuous sediment removal.
Reply ReplyAbsolulutely NO ! ! ! There have been multiple tests and millions of dollars spent over the years saying the pond should have been dredged years ago. Stop spending on inspections and get to dredging.
Reply ReplyThe river at Mirror Pond is now evolving into a wetland habitat--very much like the area just upstream from the Colorado St. dam--which, at zero cost, gives us recreation and lovely views.
Reply ReplyThis project could be done very cheaply if it weren’t for all the senseless rules and regulations my God it used to be done by a small saw mill Who never made this type of money Bend is spoiled!
Reply ReplyFix the SE sewer system first you promised back in 1999 would come into our area. Bunch of crooks that have run this city for. Get your developer buddies to pay for who control this town.
Reply ReplyNot my city, not my problem. Owners of the dam or city should be responsible.
Reply ReplyIt's a commercial dam. Maintenance is the responsibility of the dam owner!
