These people live there, pay enough property taxes. They SHOULD NOT have to pay taxes to live there!!!

No, too many rules and restrictions for a neighborhood.

We had to cut some trees for our build. The logs now provide heat for our home.

We have a wood stove but it is only used for power outages or EXTREME COLD like -20.

Our stove has kept us warm in our home in Bend since 1980, and its reduced our electric furnace costs substantially during the winter! Love it!

I live in NWX and wood-burning anything is not allowed - not in-home FPs or outside firepits. I do love a good wood-burner tho. Had always had one. But they do contribute to pollution.

There is a huge demand for a year-round indoor rink. Nothing fancy, let the tourists go to the Pavilion. Local hockey players, ice skaters, curlers need a place to call home.

We need an all year ice facility and more ice time for all of the programs to have a sufficient share of available ice

Bend outgrew our current ice rink even before it opened! Programs are full before the season starts. Open Skates are maxed out - they run out of rental skates! With all the revenue, please add walls.

A full-time YEAR ROUND one! The demand has exploded in the last 5 years. We're a winter sport town. What did they expect?

No brainer! thousands of people will come to Bend from out of town and spend on hotels, restaurants, local shops ect. This would bring a big boost to the economy. This is quickl becoming a hockey town

An indoor all season rink is needed to improve the level of hockey that is currently played. It could also lead to having a junior team come to Bend and could be a way to go see decent hockey.

There is more than enough demand for a ENCLOSED year round full sheet, even two; when programs fill instantly, shows there is more than enough demand! Locals/tourists Use it and then some!

With the explosive growth in ice sports participation, there is just not enough ice time available to support the community. Adult hockey pickup sessions regularly fill within minutes of opening.

Hockey sessions sell out in under a minute - clearly the demand is there and business would be booming! Plus more jobs for BPRD employees!

Kids need access to activities that inspire them and safe environments to express themselves. Everyone has their own "thing" and if there isn't enough ice for these kids, they may have nothing else.

It would be cool but I feel we should put one in Redmond so kids there can get proper ice time because not everyone con go to bend plus Redmond’s is small and Redmond doesnt have much for young people

We already have a second ice-skating rink one at inn at the seventh mountain and we I have one in Redmond as well

Wed, 22 Jan 2020 10:30:30 -0500

Dave Michalec

That's true, but those rinks do not already incorporate ice hockey, curling, an entire kids program for ice hockey, and cannot accommodate the demand for public skating like the Pavillion does.

Wed, 22 Jan 2020 14:21:27 -0500

Beth Brinston

Those rinks don't service the needs of the ice sports community. They are find for recreational skating.
