Commented "Over but not by much. From what I've read about the competition it looks to me like 7 or 8 wins in the regular season. Nebraska needs some offensive staff changes to do better."
Commented "After 2 years of terrible running back recruiting, terrible offensive line play and terrible play calling we haven't replaced a single offensive staff member. Instead we replaced the d-cordinator?"
Commented "Riley has yet to win anything of value as a head coach in American football. I would be surprised if his regular season record at Nebraska after 2018 is 29-19 or better. "
Commented "It will take a season for the defense to gel and the offensive staff needs coaching adjustments similar to the defense. The defense actually out ranked the offense nationally last season. Riley has several more friends to fire before Nebraska can win their division let alone their conference."
Commented "Diaco is the best coach Riley has hired to his staff by far. Unfortunately it may be too little to late. It will likely be another year before his defense takes hold and the 2019 schedule is brutal."
Commented "Pro style offenses have been solved. Their success relies heavily on a very high level of nationally coveted talent which makes consistency an issue even for teams that have every recruiting advantage. There are other more college friendly schemes that get better results from less talent."
Commented "While I would have replaced Davis and Cavanaugh long before Banker I do think that the change is needed. We can't seem to recruit d-ends. Maybe a 3-4 would be a better fit. Riley however doesn't seem to be as proficient at hiring good coaches as he is at firing bad ones. Doesn't give me much hope."
Commented "If Langsdorf wants to keep throwing the deep route 4 or more times a game we need a receiver that's a deep threat and an o-line that can buy adequate time. We also need better d-ends and our running back recruiting has been mediocre. I don't see the upgrade(this and last class) from the last staff."
