Love em both but end of the day batman has more history with his rogues individually vs a sinister 6. The obscure and silly ones can be reinvented. Spiderman's have more flair style wise but not as much dramatically as batman's.
Spider-Man has Mysterio which is my favorite villain in comics so Spider-Man wins, he also has more variety, you have aliens, interdimensional vampires, mad scientists and a lot of them are plays of irresponsible use of powers, which ties them thematically with Peter.
The Batman because I like how he goes through an arc from focusing on vengeance to being a symbol of hope. It shows the contrast to what batman was like in his early days and what he'll become. In Begins after he returns to Gotham he knows what he wants to achieve and doesn't change from that
Batman Begins is more of an origin story. I like more of Batman’s early days, but not, like, his first day ever. And I think this movie is less boring. It’s my favorite Batman movie ever.
I think this movie moreso had an engaging personality for Bruce & a engaging interesting look (even if I feel like later movies didn't have it look as engaging) world around him. I feel like almost all the characters work more in this movie than The Batman.

ReplyThey're both great, but Batman's is ICONIC.
ReplyAgreed. Spidey's foes historically fall under the "science experiment gone wrong" category. Batman villains have categorically better backstories.
ReplyBatman villains have stronger themes. Spidey's villains are just wacky for the most part.
