Which movie was more of a one-trick pony? Maybe shouldn't have had sequels?

Both, but I will never understand why there are so many godawful Halloween movies.

Jurassic Park at least has possibilities of what to do with the dinosaurs and there are different scenarios. Halloween loses all luster after one movie and Michael Myers is BORING because there are no rules of what he can and can’t do

First one is amazing and still watchable all this time later. So many good moments. Could have ended there. I find all the sequels underwhelming.
ReplyAt least some of the Halloween sequels were entertaining as straightforward slashers and had even a neat idea or two. All Jurassic Park sequels just suck.
