It’s really a toss-up for me. I love both of them, but I always admired Gene’s desire to champion comedy, musicals, and other “light” entertainment for his best-of-year lists. A staunch thumbs-down for Apocalypse Now? HOW?! But Wayne’s World making best of 1992 is a total power move!

I think Gene got caught up in pretentiousness a little more than Ebert

Jim Carry's performance is only one of the many positives of both films. It may not be AS good or enjoyable, but the Sonic films have shown to be better than they have any right to be outside of Carry's performance. It would be a great time to introduce characters that have yet to make an appearance

While I certainly can appreciate a comic-accurate build for Logan this time 'round, personally, I'm more hopeful he suits up in a form of his traditional uniform, cowl and all! IMO, that would instantly separate this new version from Jackman's, regardless of his relative height to his predecessor.
