Note that me saying seasons 1-5 doesn't mean it has more stuff that I liked, because I do prefer more stuff in later seasons, but I think these seasons were cleaner story wise. I feel like the second half was more messy.

While I can see the argument that the button layout is kind of wonky, the GC controller is perhaps the best feeling controller in terms of just how snugly it fits into my hands. Rivaled in that regard only by the newest Gen console controllers.

Also gotta give respect for Nintendo for trying something new with their controllers for almost every gen even if it doesn't always work.

I like the GameCube controller but the button layout is so weird. I can’t really play old Mario platformers easily. The sticks on the PS2 controller also feel good.

While I like both, a PlayStation controller (especially 1-3) is just so intuitive/second nature to me, having grown up on those systems! The G.C. one is certainly well-built, but the triggers require a stronger than normal push to register. P.S. is just the gold standard and has a great foundation!

This is at least entertainingly bad. Insurrection, meanwhile, is just frustratingly bad, goes against one of the core themes of Star Trek (technology makes our lives better) and expects me to root for a handful of smug hippies hogging a universal cure from billions of people.
ReplyI actually enjoy The Final Frontier as a film and with its lack of love is disheartening. It does something no modern trek does, it asks sci-fi questions.
Replyunlike insurrection it's fun to watch even though it's because it's bad, with that being said there are a few cool ideas and memorable quotes while insurrection is just plain boring with a stupid story thematic
