Put in the overhead crosswalks as soon before somebody dies

If nothing else we need to make a huge effort to slow traffic down to about 45 MPH at China Hat Rd. If there is no funding for a pedestrian overpass add several warning lights indicating congestion.

Do you think a persons life is important? How many have to die or be injured before you give the crossing higher importance?

Yes it is extremely important, lives should be very important. Roundabouts are not a necessity, pedestrians safety over a major highway should be first before another stupid roundabout!

HIGH Traffic makes it a manditory pedestrian safety issue.

The speed limit should be 55 and there should be NO STOPLIGHTS!!! What's the point of a bypass if you have to stop. Again, a little common sense!

I assume it would cost millions of $ and people will still cross in areas they shouldn't. Why are there sidewalks along the Parkway? Remove the sidewalks and fence it like they do along major highways or accept the fact that people will still cross it and die.

Don't cross the Parkway where there is no crosswalk. It is for vehicles. Crossing the Parkway will result in a thinning of the herd. For all of you atheists out there it is called "survival of the fittest".

Parking and city revenue out weigh the small gain in revenue the business say they receive.

Simply, they're unfair to other businesses. Each space represents potential income for one or multiple businesses. If parklettes are to remain, businesses should file an application per space with an associated annual fee, subject to increase rent cost/year. They cause more problems than they solve.

Since nobody sits outside in the cold of winter, why not remove all the outdoor eating areas at least in the winter??

Nobody is sitting outside in the winter months and Street dining should be limited May - October months. Also what is not needed is 4 season dining in these structures (walls. Heaters, etc) when restaurants have room inside. If eateries don't have room inside, shouldn't be taking public space

A few circles around the area, I always find a spot. It’s not any different than any other city. I like seeing people enjoying the outdoors. That’s why we live here.
