I think they'd be able to get to something like 7-5 if they still had some offensive weapons. But the lack of receivers and backs is going to make it difficult. If they do get to a bowl, it will be due to the defense.

ReplyEach game we are getting better and our Defense is just as strong as they were the first game. It is only a matter of time for the Offense to open up and showcase all the young talent on the team. Not to mention every team left has struggles with stopping offenses. Our D will shut down their runs.

ReplyC'mon...Northwestern / Purdue / Maryland, Iowa ALL @ home = 7 wins !! Right ? We should beat ALL of them, right ? I like Kool-Aid, but Tony White has got our boys heading in the right direction for a nice change, even though we need a pass rusher they've been solid & I believe will get better.
ReplyThe defense will have to carry us, and the young receivers are gonna have to step up big time. Satterfield may have to think long and hard about throwing to run vs running to throw ... we shall see, but ZI think they'll go at least 6-6 maybe 7-5

ReplyThe west is weak and the crossovers look very winnable after seeing Illinois beat Maryland. We will get to 6 and may even be in the hunt in the west
