Teams with tradition, don't need gimmicks.

I prefer the classic home uniforms. If they want to wear an alternate, why not do it in one of the early season cupcake games?

The Huskers seem to never play well wearing the alternate uniforms.

Huskers frequently lose in alternates

NU uniforms from all previous years have been the classiest in all of college football. If a player decides to come to NU because of alternate uniforms, we don’t want that player. The blueblood schools don’t need to use alternate uniforms. Besides, most of the time NU wears them they lose!

Black is not, nor has it ever been a Nebraska color. Hail Varsity! "Hail to the team, everyone sings (and expects) the Scarlet & Cream . . . . "

The gimmick uniforms are just that…bush league gimmicks. Possibly, just possibly wear them when you have a 70:30, 80:20 Chance of winning. NU has tried their all black, all red combinations and gotten embarrassed on the field. It’s Go Big Red. Blackshirts at practice.

Never been a fan of alternate uniforms. Not really a fan of the new look uniforms...as the pants look unfinished...Remember "unfinished business..." But, what do I know...a Nebraska graduate of 1973 and still old school in many respects.
