The people of Nebraska had great confidence in Trev Alberts. It is a huge step backwards when both Ted carter and Trev decided it wasn't worth it to stay and work within the system. Obviously the Board of Regents lack of leadership was the problem.
Nebraska Athletics needed major stability after years of Riley/Frost. Everyone treated Trev as the Prodigal Son, even those not from Nebraska. Husker Nation NEEDS what he has....no reason to leave other than $$$$.
She must make the move she thinks is best. She must be able to make $$ in the WNBA. I question whether she will be as dominant and generate the same amount of headlines as she has in college. I'm sure she will be successful. The question will be how successful.
She should stay one more year and continue raking in the big NIL dollars. Her popularity will soon subside in the much less passionate fanbase of the WNBA. Plus, she can expect some resentment and difficulties from jealous WNBA teammates and players.
This was a true WTF moment.

ReplyTotally. There is a rumor about A&M joining the B1G. NO. I think the SEC would be good for TA! :)
ReplyI was flabbergasted. He said it was his dream job. Guess you can't trust anybody.
ReplyWe tend to take a man at his word, at least until he proves you can't. Trev did just that.
