It's not cowardice. Dannen only recently was given the numbers on when and how much the South Stadium renovation would cost. He made this move to add an 8th home game to keep the athletic dept from losing millions of $$.
Unfortunately, that January slide might be a bit too much to overcome. I hope they prove me wrong.

With their record, they'll be lucky to sneak into the tourney. NIT seems more likely.

No great BIG teams this year so they sneak in, get a 9 or 10 seed, and continue their perfect record in the Big Dance :).

It is baffling how so many coaches let special teams drift. A dedicated, clever coach with all the pieces in place can win many games for their team

ReplyNo matter how bad it looks, Dannen has to do what's necessary to keep the athletic department in the black financially. That's the bottom line. He can't allow millions in revenue to be lost just to save face.
