How could anyone not being concerned about this major source of food for our fishermen and local economies? We have to reign in the pollution with reduction of plastic bags and with regard for sealife

There is a floating landfill called trash island that is almost the size of Texas. Miles and miles of trash.

This is a global problem regardless of the source. Biodiversity is essential ...for live (HUMANS too), we have to protect the place that gives life.

How can any sane, intelligent person not be concerned when we see a "garbage island" the size of Rhode Island in the middle of the Pacific; when we see dolphins ensnared in netting, etc.?

95% of all ocean plastic pollution comes from 10 rivers, 8 in Aisia, the other 2 in Africa. The USA contributes about 1%. htps://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4970214/95-plastic-oceans-com

The top polluters China and India are the ones who need to be held accountable not the US. Focus on the real culprits.

Most of the issue comes from third world countries that don't take care of their garbage properly and last report was 40% of plastic in the ocean was from FISHING NETS. there's work to be done but our focus is in the wrong place.

The media is breathless concerning plastic in the ocean. Eventually all the plastic breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces. When small enough, bacteria use it as a food source.

I guess because it was one of her earliest songs and what helped launch her career.

Like a Virgin was covered by Weird Al. I heard Weird Al's version first before I ever listened to Madonna.

I went through my 20s listening to that song. It was considered to be so controversial at the time. I like the beat better than the other song in the poll.

I was 13 when this song and album was released. At the time, I didn't understand many of the lyrics at 13 years of age. The entire album fascinated me, yes I had this on vinyl. I was a huge fan fur years and years. I wore a college paper on Madonna and her contribution to the empowerment of women.

Vogue was agead of its time. Madonna also wasn't afraid to embrace AND defend what we call LGBTQIA+ today. In that regard, she gave ZERO F***S! That's a TRUE ICON!
