The media is breathless concerning plastic in the ocean. Eventually all the plastic breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces. When small enough, bacteria use it as a food source.

Yes I understand its a concern, Just when you look at the problem you see most of the trash is coming from other places then the USA.
ReplyHow could anyone not being concerned about this major source of food for our fishermen and local economies? We have to reign in the pollution with reduction of plastic bags and with regard for sealife
ReplyThere is a floating landfill called trash island that is almost the size of Texas. Miles and miles of trash.
