Frost/staff have their work cut out with a team essentially inherited from the Mike Riley debacle. Until their own recruits are the majority, the whip is going to need to be cracked, repeatedly!

The players need a team meeting without the coaches. They (players) need to start calling out their teamates as a whole and decide to step up or keep losing. Basically a gut check and heart!

Some of the fan base wants to blame the coaching staff and already wants Frosts head, He did the right thing making it public to give a taste of what he is saying to the players. It is on players now

They have been playing like a bunch of California fruitcakes for the past 15 years+ yes they need to toughen up and play with some heart, guts, and desire. Nebraska hasnt played with any of that!!!!

I think that they definitely need to toughen up and i believe that's part of it. These players are used to losing and seemed more interested in getting out of the cold more than winning the game.

Look in the mirror Frost, and then forget about the loyalty factor and get tough with assistants. That last touchdown Purdue scored was ridiculous. DC can't seem to make adjustments. Call them out.

The program was so broken that they need a few more years before we start to see what Frost has in store for the program. Let us trust him as we would Coach Oz
ReplyA coach with a solid track record, work ethic, understands Husker traditions and bleeds Husker red. Knows what it takes to win championships. Its a no brainer.
ReplyWe see now how much Frost has to deal wt - the cupboard was bare. Recruits need to see continuity and commitment by admin that we know where we are going and patient to get there.
ReplyEnough with starting over. We now have a coach who cares about Nebraska FB outcome. This not a job for SF, this is his personal mission.
ReplyThe University of Nebraska has too much time, money and confidence invested in Scott Frost. The contract extension verifies our commitment to SF. Back off and let him do his job!

ReplyI believe Frost is on the right path, and showing you back your coach is key in recruiting. Also a large part of the whole Nebraska is in is how quickly we have been willing to drop a coach.
