If one comments in public, then they may be rebuked in public. The AD was protecting one of his employees, I have no problem with his comments to Tommy.

I like both men! TF was and still is, one of my all-time heroes. He certainly earned and has the right to voice his concerns, just as BM has the right to respond. That should be the end of it!

I respect Tommie's opinions, but his coaching career doesn't necessarily make him an expert at rebuilding the Huskers.

This is why Moos is the right man for the AD job and Frost is the right man for the coach's position. They have each other's back. That is what loyalty is all about. Tommie was NEVER a captain. Why?

Moos is not wrong. Tommy came into a program ready to win. Frost is having to teach players how to win.

Accurate statement. Tommie had EVERYTHING stacked when he arrived. Tommie's tweet was a self contradiction. He said the kids played their asses off, wouldn't happen if Frost wasn't respected by them.

I think Moos explained it well: Tommie is deserving of utmost respect, but he knows not of the very difficult process of what it takes to recreate a similar team AT THIS VERY DIFFERENT TIME.

AM is becoming another Tommie Armstrong. Up and Down - not consistent - flashes of greatness but turnover prone. McCaffrey seems to be the better fit.

He is cooler under pressure. Simple as that.

Martinez has not been what he was last year all this season. He only had Martinez throw 18 times and so if your aren't going to throw much anyway then why not put the better runner in, c'mon coach!!!

He's a better passer and a more agile runner.

Adrian has not gotten the job done this year and McCaffrey came in and electrified the team and crowd. Is there something wrong with throwing a TD? He is then benched for the rest of the game?

AM has some issues; when he is on he is great, but something is wrong. Is he “overthinking” his position? Maybe. I’d have given McCaffrey more opportunities.

AM wasn't doing the job. McA couldn't have done any worse and probably would have done much better. To me, Scott's two biggest problems, special teams and no Qb rotation.

In this case the 89,000 fans chanting "Luke!!!" had it right. One pass for the day, rolling to his left. One perfect strike for a TD. The kid elevates everyone play. He is most certainly a gamer.

We are finished. Adrian has something on Frost to the point that Scott doesn't care whether we win the games. We LOST 4 last year because he ran off Tristan Gebbia YEAR OVER.

Obviously something was not right with Martinez; whether it was injury or something else. I understand Coach Frost staying committed to his guy; the #1 QB; but Nebraska NEEDED this win.

He should have been the Q-back the whole game, Sorry but Martinez is done, and is showing no effort, Luke is the Q-back for the future at Nebraska.

You could see and feel the fire with the team when Luke is in the game. Adrian had confidence issues all year. Not sure why, but it was unfortunate for the team. Tough decisions ahead for Scott.

Adrian is a great athlete who appears to have a confidence issue. The stage might be too big for him mentally. Luke has been groomed for this his whole life.

It just felt like for the season that the coaches put the needs of Adrian's ahead of the needs of the team

Luke is next years starter. it is a no brainers. If Frost decides to be Bo Pelini and insist he is right and everyone else is wrong and stick with AM the Huskers will get another year of no bowl.

Go with the hot hand. If Luke had just been lucky because they expected run from him, he too would bog down and then you know it's not the qb but the great defensive thry were facing.

A player playing with confidence vs a player struggling. The entire team plays at a different upbeat tempo and speed when McCaffery is in the game. Even from a 2nd/3rd string role he commands the O!

Because its been obvious for most if not all season AM isn't right in mind or body. Frost went all in and doubled down on him being "The" guy. Vedral or McCaffrey should've been in after 1st qtr.

We needed a spark. They put him in at WR and QB in the 1st with success, then disappeared until late in 4th when it was all but too late. Needed to unload bag of tricks in this one and didn't do it.

Give it a try. Didn't have to be for the whole game thought.
