National comparison shows oregon teachers are in the top 15% but our graduation rates are near the bottom. Money WILL NOT fix the problem.

Because we neneed a better gov. No more brown.

The funds are there, just dont spend them on other stuff.

No--- Oregon needs to solve PERS draining of Oregon taxpayer money. I would love to recieve a guaranteed 10% kickback from Oregon taxpayers regardless of a recession or not. STOP PERS !

I have seen the waste just to use departments budget so they won't get cut next budget teachers do need more

Teachers should aspire to teach, It's called public service for a reason.

Budgets need priorities and education should be #1 … there are sufficient dollars especially with the lottery paying so much (that has allowed legislators to take education funds and use them elsewhere

I like teachers and I think they are great but haven't we seen enough tax increases???

They only teach what the government tells them to. Also, figure out where all the money we already pay in taxes is going and you will find waste that can be then cut and that money go to teachers.
