Everyone deserves to have a place to live. A set location could create a sense of community amongst people who are homeless. A location near a bus line will help with transportation to/from jobs.

You bet, even the Homeless need a place to go for awhile. BUT, there has to be guidelines. They can't just run wild like animals. Truly deserving people must be held accountable. In turn be given the tools and a way out through support. I'm a homeowner and I would help where I can.

Because homelessness will never completely go away. There will always be some person or family in crises . The old KOA is the ideal site as water , sewer, and electri is fairly accessible.

A better location would be on the west side. The convenience of services near there was apparently why the college was located there. Near Phil’s trail or NW Crossing would be perfect.

Because people will come from other places/states when word gets around that they can live for free. Other cities have tried this same plan and it's been a disaster!!

Needs to be outside the urban areas, probably East of Bend is the most fitting!

Siting a "temporary" homeless camp of this size, near two public schools and a park is NOT a good idea. What business in their right mind would look at property in Juniper Ridge with this nearby?

No. Enabling drug addicts and the alcohol adducted to live on our streets and neighborhoods is criminal. They need to be housed in a treatment facility.

I agree with locating them outside urban areas.

Move them outside the city limits. Use abandoned buildings or have inmates build temp structures. They need shelter, but they don't need to be near residential homes, parks, or schools.

Many of my students display addictive behaviors regarding their phones, and it has proven detrimental to their learning and social development. Any positive of cell phone use is vastly outweighed by negative consequences.

Long overdue. Students need to focus on being educated in school, not watching videos, playing games, & chatting with each other. Educators and others do not need the distraction that cell cause. If there are emergencies that students need to know about there are other ways for them to find out.

Kids are way too addicted to their phones and it is affecting their learning. Phones could be kept in a basket in the classroom in case of emergency, but definitely NOT with the kid.

My teaching friends say it's been a battle to keep kids off their phones in class and wastes a bunch of class time time addressing this. How will this be enforced any differently though?

Given the recent wildfires near Redmond, would you support a personal fireworks ban?
