tax payers should not be paying for what is essentially an elective procedure. Abortion is not healthcare unless the life of the expectant mother is in jeopardy.

This was forced by the Salem socialists. The only Commissioner I would never vote for is Chang, he likes Tax Payers paying for irresponsible behavior and would like to have more Commissioners on the board that believe in the socialist democrat agenda.

They already covered abortions in situations of rape, incest, or for medical reasons. Now, they're required to cover abortions when it's simply a want and not a need. If it's not medically necessary (or in the case of rape or incest) then it shouldn't be covered by medical insurance.

It is a personal responsibility if you get pregnant so it is also your responsibilty if you choose abortion which means you pay ...not taxpayers !

Abortion shouldn't be taken lightly and used as a form of birth control, especially with taxpayer dollars.

Absolutely not. Abortion is not women's health, it is not contraception, it is factually taking a human life period.

Do you think this suspect should be allowed to keep his dogs as his case unfolds?

Exactly! This awful man should never be allowed to own animals for the rest of his life! Once an abuser, always an abuser. No matter that he is a vet. It doesn't excuse this abusive behavior, especially over tiny dogs!

I don't think he should get his dogs back until a psych eval is done and he's deemed ok to own an animal. I also think that your reporter's continued hounding of him for an interview after he clearly declined was appropriate or professional.
