What is going on? Who took it upon themselves to ruin Christmas for the rest of us. How does Visit Bend like this? How many people visit here each year expecting to go down town for the lights and holiday atmosphere? Lame…. The ironic part is, Bend City is enabling more traffic 🤣.

CoB made a huge mistake with this new parking system. First off, it's impossible to see the sign long enough to figure out where spaces are. And how are visitors supposed to know where the listed parking areas are? We used to be proud of how magical the downtown was but now it looks dull. Boo on CoB

They are pretty sparse, was just down there yesterday and the missing lights were very noticeable, made downtown look cheap and not inviting at all. And have no idea how to use this parking signage - kinda stupid really.

The trees have been butchered. Based on the visual, real world outcomes it was a poor decision making and outreach process at all levels. Plus, the parking signs are distracting at a congested intersection. Policy Decision Grade: F

The Parking Manager shows no respect for Bendites at all, increasing parking fees, taking away the lights, trimming trees, he's a joke who needs to go back to where he came from.

Real tacky. Not worth taking kids to shop & see lights there. If I was shop owner who paid for lights display... I WOULD DEMAND MY MONEY BACK¡ They got ripped, ripped off.

No Twinkling lights, in the grand scheme of things, is pretty small potatoes.

The Oregon government and local police force has done a HORRIBLE job at keeping crime down, protecting cities, citizens and federal agents. If they can't do their job, TRUMP WILL.

Oh yeah, Trump did a great protecting when he incited the riot at the Capital on January 6th. Then had the unmitigated gall to pardon his MAGA idots for their crimes. What a guy...

I usually spend a number of days each month in the Portland area, including downtown. Having worked in downtown Portland for many years, yes it's not what it once was. Having said that, it's definitely not a "war zone" and nothing like Trump and his minions would like you to think.

A bunch of crap from the Trump administration that hopes to incite a violent response that justifies the use of violence and military action. Illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional. Get them out!

Because the exaggeration of conditions in Portland, LA, memphis and Chicago is nowhere near the actual events. He and his henchpeople including traitor dereamer are only creating a reason to occupy american cities and attack the democrats.

It’s a very small minority that’s causing a problem and for the most part, the marches are peaceful and none-combative. Portland’s problems, generally speaking; are the homeless sleeping on the streets and trashing the area, and not people marching in the streets.
