My boyfriend is very much a live for today, you can't take it with you kind of person. I'm a saver and it has helped us out more than once.

I'm on a retirement pension, which has not been affected by the virus, so I'm OK.

We were taught to always have a 6 month reserve...just in case. The reserve came before large purchases such as video games, expensive " toys", etc or credit card debt..

Nope Not even close. We live paycheck to paycheck and our hours have been cut (possible layoff) because of COVID19.
