Yes, it blew down a large hanging partition on my porch that I mended and rehung via different type of hooks. 3rd time it's happened. Instead of an eyebolt on a teacup-type open hook, I connected 2 eyebolts with a "quick link" that screws shut. Now the wind can howl and those will not fly off again!

No thank God, we are somewhat protected by hills around us. Well it did blow my garbage can over after they emptied it. LOL

Nothing out of the ordinary. These winds are nothing new. I have lived here all of my 60 years. I've seen worse. This is typical

Do you think this suspect should be allowed to keep his dogs as his case unfolds?

Exactly! This awful man should never be allowed to own animals for the rest of his life! Once an abuser, always an abuser. No matter that he is a vet. It doesn't excuse this abusive behavior, especially over tiny dogs!

I don't think he should get his dogs back until a psych eval is done and he's deemed ok to own an animal. I also think that your reporter's continued hounding of him for an interview after he clearly declined was appropriate or professional.
