Electric vehicles have massive batteries which can not be easily disposed of, and are toxic to the environment. Electric buses are very expensive. And cannot be driven very far, especially driving to valley schools for sports events.

Because the Democrats have no plans to increase electrical infrastructure to accommodate increased demand while under false pretense (no such thing as global warming) eliminating abundant and reliable fossil fuel.

Cold weather can create problems, replacing batteries is very expensive and where do the old ones go...into landfiles. Humans probably contribute to enviromental problems but are not the main cause and nothing we do will stop climate change, the earth will do what it has been doing since time began.

EV batteries are NOT good for our environment not to mention the poor children digging for the minerals just so the green idiots can brag how well the USA is doing in the name of climate change rhetoric. If those were our children we would all be up on child abuse charges facing years in prison.

Don't listen to CB. An increasing number of scientists that agreed that climate change is a result of human activity are rethinking their position. Stating that CO2 may not be the cause of climate change. Science is not fact, science it theory. And Scientific theories have been debunked in the past

Just when I think you can't get any more ridiculous, you come out with the nonsense. Even your own church acknowledges climate change, A SCIENTIFIC FACT.

No, for a variety of reasons, we should not go the route of electric vehicles.

Its a super expensive way to virtue signal. Not to mention all the other failures of the creation of EV batteries, slave labor, all while using natural fuels to create the electricity.

Yes we on a well, so we never use to much in a single day. I think it is wrong for people to waste water watering a yard in Central Oregon's heat! We hae one person in the area that waters his bunch grass, just scrub grass, not even a real yard. Wasting water on junk natural grass clumps! not right

If there was a water shortage Deschutes county would notice it and quit issuing building permits.
