Nissan Leaf $18,000 (after rebates) +Kia Rio (gas) $20,000 = $38,000 or a Subaru Outback = $38,000 two for the price of one!

Considered it, but they need to get cheaper. My neighbor has an EV and he pays far less to charge it than I pay for gas.

What they neglect to tell people is that it causes more pollution creating the batteries for electric cars then what were already causing. These electric cars are not the awnser to our problems. Engines don't run on liquid gas they run off the fumes that it creates they can fix it but they won't!

Riiiight, because finding and extracting petroleum, refining it into gasoline, transporting it, and burning it is completely pollution free, LOL,

Charging them & keeping them charged has become an issue with recent cold weather.

Wouldn't have one. Not enough charging stations, it loses mileage distance in cold weather, and the batteries can catch fire. No thank you! Would consider a hybrid but never an all-electric car.

Far too many children are being forced into slave labor just so idiots can say they are being good citizens of the planet.

Absolutely NOT. That is going in the wrong direction and is going to be more of a problem than a help. It is ludacris and not viable. Global warming is a hoax, from the corrupt left. The Earth has been cooling and warming on and of for thousands of years! I do not like E V's!!!

What a scam. If everyone went to E Vehicles, we wouldn't have the power generating capacity to service them. Check out the amp draw on elec vehicles and figure it out. Guess we could build more nuke and coal plants to make up the difference.

Parking and city revenue out weigh the small gain in revenue the business say they receive.

Simply, they're unfair to other businesses. Each space represents potential income for one or multiple businesses. If parklettes are to remain, businesses should file an application per space with an associated annual fee, subject to increase rent cost/year. They cause more problems than they solve.

Since nobody sits outside in the cold of winter, why not remove all the outdoor eating areas at least in the winter??

Nobody is sitting outside in the winter months and Street dining should be limited May - October months. Also what is not needed is 4 season dining in these structures (walls. Heaters, etc) when restaurants have room inside. If eateries don't have room inside, shouldn't be taking public space

A few circles around the area, I always find a spot. It’s not any different than any other city. I like seeing people enjoying the outdoors. That’s why we live here.
