The non-unanimous jury was completely unconstitutional and Oregon fought hard to keep it, being the last state in the country to get rid of what was well known as a Jim Crow law. And yet Oregon continues to do things that are unconstitutional, such as not provide enough public defenders.

Replythe courts have no problem sending someone to prison for life with a simple majority, but 11-1 jury? Unconstitutional! P.S. He’s the obviously innocent nephew of Stephen Avery from Making A Murderer.
