Is increased enforcement responsible for higher downtown Columbia crime numbers?

Is the one who asked this question just plain out dumb, stupid or both? I say that anyone that commits a crime should be either put in prison and be put to death or put dropped off in shark infested waters. I will guarantee everyone that that person will not do it again. Problem solved.

Is increased enforcement a segment of the overall numbers? Sure ,but you and I know crime is up in downtown Columbia and a blind person could see it. Walk downtown at night and it's like Jurassic park & Mad max ,aggressive homeless,drug use ,and people just lurking. Not a good feeling.

This a ridiculous question. More law enforcement is the answer certainly not the cause

Just a higher number of arrests. They miss more than they catch.
