Because I have never liked this alternate Uniform thing from the beginning. We have not only looked silly, but, have been distracted by it. I wish I knew how many games we won or lost with this. I hope the team doesn't even pay attention to it.

It's a tip of the cap to a historical event and the addition of a message to the varsity stripes that should stay. They won't sell a lot of them but it's a respectful way to do what they set out to do. On the 100th anniversary is it a bad ting to remind people that we are a classic, not gimmick.

These are great. A subtle twist on our classic look. And MUCH better than the all black/all red/all white/all puke alternative unis!

I would like to see these as our permanent uniforms. I think they are more lively than all red tops. Have not been too thrilled about the crazy alternatives of the past that takes us too far from our identity.

Do something interesting like metallic blue unis with an all red helmet with a white N for example. Was this given to a soon to be retired employee at Adidas?

Waste of time. If the alterations to the uniform are going to be this simple and this boring, then lets keep our normal uniforms. No recruit is getting excited about these. No person besides true Husker fans could tell you what's different or unique. I doubt the current players are impressed either

The Jersey design doesn't capture the historical significance of the centennial season. It should be a memorable style, not one that will be forgotten immediately after exiting the stadium.

I understand the blue outline of the letters, but I kind of feel we should've gone all Blue, like in the first ever home game at Memorial Stadium, this just seems like 1/16th of an effort.

We should. Easier schedule. Good talent left from previous regime. Nice portal pickups. But in the last few years I've always felt optimistic only to have hopes dashed. So for now, I'm taking a cautious wait and see attitude.

Players look in better shape to finish games, which should help in some of the close ones NU has recently lost. Play calling should also improve. Let's not kid ourselves though, it will mostly rest on QB play. Jeff Sims must stay healthy! There just appears to be too much of a dropoff after him.

NU has had enough talent to make a bowl game all 6 yrs they missed out, they were just the right coach away! I think Rhule is the difference & I see no reason they can't win 6 or 7 games, maybe 8! It will really boil down to team chemistry, can it gel that quickly? I think it will!

I just believe NU is going to reestablish its home field advantage under Rhule and I think Purdue is going to take a step back next year under a new head coach. While Rhule is new too, NU needed him. PU didn't need or want to lose Brohm. Two programs trending in different directions in 2023.
