Holiday SquareOffs

of course!

It's just 2 of us. We've eatten out on Thanksgiving in the past. Not happy with the crowds or lack of leftovers for turkey sandwiches and homemade turkey pot pies.

When I don't have my son, holiday meals are kept simple and more casual. But, we do more with him. I live with my mother, step dad, brother, and son. Even when I don't my boy, we have more semi fancy meals with the arrival of step dad than before him. I have my boy for Thanksgiving, but no guests.

I always do! Never went out for the holidays

I will be home alone this year, so will make something.

Visiting with family who will be cooking.

I live alone so I will cook a turkey drumstick. No sense in cooking an entire bird for one person.

Black licorice or Reeses

Peanut Butter Cups. Either Reese's or Trader Joes. And thats not just for Halloween in this house.

Candy Corn, Tootsie Rolls, and Twix.

M&M's

Candy corn ( remember my grandmother bringing a big bag and counting them out among the five of us). Guess a second one would be the Reese's peanut butter cups.
