One of the things that's exciting, but also heartbreaking is we're getting to a place in the live action movies where we are moving away from those original Avengers stories. That's what makes What If...? so great, is while we move forward in live action, we can go back and visit old friends on the animation side. SO why not build a multi-versal Avengers to team that could take on multiverse problems. And if you're going to have some form of them, Nick Fury better be running that squad!

Whether you dig What If...? or not the idea of these one of stories is kind of cool. We have the live action space for all the crossover events and Avengers movies, I don't see a reason to create a multiversal Avengers. I'd rather see the show come up with unique one off stories that can live in their own universes. If anything I'd rather see the continuation of some of the stories, but I don't need a cross universe team up here.
