While a highly existential threat, if I had to pick, there’s more variables on the alien side that would pique my curiosity. I’d like to see what they and their technology looked like. 👽 🛸

Aliens usually have superior tech/firepower, so what could I realistically do? In zombie apocalypse, I could try to find an area where there are fewer of them and do my best to survive.

I feel like in some way I like would already know what I'm up against. As long as like it's not the World War Z zombies that are crazy strong, I fee like I could just walk away from a dead guy...

I prefer mutants because they come from Earth and have human values and ideologies.

The universe is so unfathomably big that the likelihood of "alien" life existing is almost a certainty so at least Mutants would be something different than the world we live in.

If you did it right, it would be great, but if you did something stupid like set it in the Picard universe, it would be awful.

Riker's awesome but got alot more to do and to become in his respective shows/movies, while Sulu on the other hand has potential I always loved the idea of Sulu and the Excelsior, also moving in a direction away from picard amd the new shows would be great
