He did nothing to change the outcome of a game. Fired or banned from.coaching is a fair punishment. He should be in the hall

Was betting on baseball games banned when Rose played? Even if he actually didn't bet against the Reds, he could have played worse in a few key games to pay off his debts. If it were banned, he shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I don't think he should be just totally shunned, but he shouldn't be put in the hall of fame, either. A lot of people are delusioned that the hall is ALL NUMBERS. It's NOT and it never should be.

I doubt it. If any of them have a chance my first vote would go to Jones or Blanton. Unless Willis has truly gotten over his control issues!

The coaches and parents clearly violated the rules and did not win according to the rules and regulations that they agreed too. It's cut and dry.

The kids brought in from other areas were all near the Jackie Robinson West school and did not have school sponsored baseball teams to play in on their own, let alone that they are middle schoolers and should not have to be punished for any perceived error above them. Show Less

These kids shouldn't be punished for the oversight or malicious intent of adults. They won that championship and don't deserve to be shamed in such a way.
