He did nothing to change the outcome of a game. Fired or banned from.coaching is a fair punishment. He should be in the hall

Was betting on baseball games banned when Rose played? Even if he actually didn't bet against the Reds, he could have played worse in a few key games to pay off his debts. If it were banned, he shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I don't think he should be just totally shunned, but he shouldn't be put in the hall of fame, either. A lot of people are delusioned that the hall is ALL NUMBERS. It's NOT and it never should be.

No! The extra travelling is too much for the players who have to play everyday. Plus, isn't the purpose of the World Baseball Classic to expand the game internationally anyway?!

It is hard enough on West Coast teams that have the longest travel schedules like Seattle and Oakland! Think if they had to fly to London! That is ridiculous!! The WBC is played by MLB rules and exposes other nations to the game. That should be enough!

Yes and that goes for any player! You're in the line up and your team is in last place (and don't have signs of improving un-like teams like the A's, or Jays!
