I work with High school kids, and they are struggling without in person school and extra curricular activities. It is safe to play and most states have shown that transmission of Covid did occur on the playing field. Let them play and if you are not comfortable stay away.

I salute the players for standing up for their brothers who are being unjustly decimated by police. They certainly have the right! I applaud them!

Absolutely! It's their right, just like every other American citizen. I wish someone would hire Colin Kaepernick!! What a waste of talent and how chickens^&* of owners not to do so.

I read the no comments and what they are saying is complete bull yes they are paid to play sports but they are also people and last time I checked people are allowed to voice their opinions and could protest as long as they don't go overboard and start doing illegal crimes I don't see a problem.

Athletes have first amendment rights as much as anyone else! They are leaders and are looked up to by young people...They are role models and should take political positions.

Sport is entertainment. When it stops being entertaining, there is no longer any reason to watch.

Don't most people protesting social issues do so on their own time? I think it is very weak just because you have a forum.

They can believe what they want. But to protest not to play when they get paid millions of dollars to do is ridiculous. Just makes more people not want to watch sports.
