The turkey adds tons of flavor and moistness.

The stuffing gets more flavor from the bones in the bird.

Safer, but again, why are these kinds of questions being asked? I think I'll do something more meaningful, now.

It's safer baked in a dish, I've heard. Stuffed in the bird is tastier, no doubt.

Made by stove top. I have never had a homemade stuffing that has tasted good.

Safer this way, AND I prefer my dad's oyster stuffing recipe.

I could care less. I don't eat it. I think this method leads to less chance of food poisoning. We never know what goes into boids today.

Rover6rover and I make our stuffing the same way. I put in large amounts of sage too.

Actually NEITHER is my answer. Baked is too dry, in bird too dangerous. So I make luscious homemade moist stove top stuffing with bread herbs onions celery and broth. Prepped beforehand, quick & hot.

It’s not entirely safe to stuff it in the bird. My family prefers white meat so I’m roasting two turkey breasts.
