Important to catch up on our childrens scholastic losses in our K-12 educational system, due to the Covid shut downs. We are behind and our students are in dire need of fundamental educational training or they will not be classically prepared to enter college in their futures.

Yes for whatever good it would do. It's extortion, pure and simple to use our kids as pawns. With no proficiency requirements for H.S. Graduation in Oregon, who needs teachers? Wake up, put your kids in private school and give them a fighting chance in this ever changing world.

Teachers claim they are essential workers. Essential workers like police and fire cannot strike so that should include teachers.

I don't like blackmail tactics and that's exactly what teachers are doing when they strike. Do your striking in the summer when kids are not in school and you can't hold parents hostage.

You obviously don't understand the concept of striking. You must have been homeschooled.

Exec branch has the responsibility to manage the economy with other countries, congress can’t even produce an annual budget - look at this democrat shutdown, they want to spend another 1.5T on healthcare subsidies- sorry, we are in the hole $35T, wake up America.

Trump’s tariffs violate the constitution. Congress holds the nations purse strings. I can’t believe we hardly heard a peep from members of Congress on his actions. Spineless

Absolutely not. The Constitution gives that authority to Congress, NOT the executive branch of the government. Trump’s actions are absolutely illegal and unconstitutional. But he doesn’t care, and has been giving Congress and the American People the finger for the past 10 months.

Memo to trump...there is a document in this country called the Constitution. Read it, learn it, live it.
