Lucky to live in an urban area now with plenty of great boutique retailers. Keeping Christmas spending local does a lot for the community. And if it’s available here I feel obligated to by it here.

I really prefer to buy locally, and do look, but if I can't get it locally, I'll get it online. Unfortunately, if local businesses' inventory isn't available online, its hard to know what they have.

ReplyI recall the fun days of yore of going to an indoor mall, where you are warm w/o a coat, and window shopping, but there are no indoor malls here in Bend. I will shop online for sure.
ReplyI live a distance from Bend & Redmond so in-store isn't always convenient. 95% of my shopping is online, especially for Christmas. I'd only go in-store if I wasn't sure what I was looking at.
