I really prefer to buy locally, and do look, but if I can't get it locally, I'll get it online. Unfortunately, if local businesses' inventory isn't available online, its hard to know what they have.

I shop both but, as we have no toy stores in town and no decent electronics stores, I find the bulk of my Christmas gifts online.

Christmas shopping used to be a weeks-long stress fest. Now I get it done in a day. I do worry about the carbon footprint of all that shipping though.

I recall the fun days of yore of going to an indoor mall, where you are warm w/o a coat, and window shopping, but there are no indoor malls here in Bend. I will shop online for sure.

I live a distance from Bend & Redmond so in-store isn't always convenient. 95% of my shopping is online, especially for Christmas. I'd only go in-store if I wasn't sure what I was looking at.

Lucky to live in an urban area now with plenty of great boutique retailers. Keeping Christmas spending local does a lot for the community. And if it’s available here I feel obligated to by it here.

I like to support my local stores. Besides that how can I buy my big meal deals at Food4Less and donate to Shepherd's house + Bethlehem Inn. I also buy 50 lb of spuds + 25 lb of onions give to each.

Our local businesses need our support all year long, the Holiday season the most. Too many stores are closing because of many people buying online. I like to see the product for myself when I buy ii.

Do you complain about everything? It seems that way.

Do you think these new rules will help reduce e-bike accidents?

Obviously, if kids who shouldn't be riding these bikes cannot ride them to school, that represents hours of the day that they won't be on them, being reckless, violating basic rules of the road, and putting lives, including theirs, in danger.
