Do you agree with Oregon's temporary suspension of high school graduation testing?

Now kids are going to graduate, even if they're failing their classes?? Should NEVER HAPPEN!!

I think the requirements for passing classes remains in effect. It's just the state tests that are suspended. I don't agree with that.
ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!? NO!! NO!! You are making our next generation functionally illiterate. When it comes to knowing what this generation needs to sign, (such as contracts, loans etc.) they will have no clue what they are signing because they can't read, write, do math. be in debt fast! NO!!!

This reflects the failure of Oregon's education system. Is it more focused toward social issues than reading, writing and arithmetic?

OF COURSE IT IS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS ANYMORE. IT IS ALL ABOUT STAYING IN CONTROL OF EVERYONE. THE LESS A PERSON KNOWS, THE EASIER TO CONTROL.
Why are we neglecting our students and dumbing down education? Oregon has become a backward state. Appalachia west. Sad!

Instead of addressing our continuously poor scores, the Governor just threw them out. That isn't helping our students. Their diplomas will be virtually useless now. They don't mean anything.

Another ridiculous idea from the Democratic control over OR. How are our kids going to be responsible,, working adults if they are not able to function in the real world. KIds need basic education, reading , writing and math NOT social programs. I hope the school districts will implement testing.

Absolutely not. What will that accomplish other than dumbing down America? It will tend to make diplomas suspect and ultimately worthless.
