Can Anthony Mackie fill the shoes of Chris Evans' Captain America?

Sadly, no
We are not just saying no cause he’s black, we are saying no because Cap was chosen, given the super-solider serum, and he is just irreplaceable. Falcon has done nothing even remotely close to living up to the title Captain America, Bucky has done more, but No one can fill those shoes, No One.

and no lmao Bucky hasn't known Cap for 100 years😂 they spent more time frozen than actually sharing moments together. And knowing him for longer isn't really a factor here. Just cause you knew someone for longer doesn't mean you can live up to their name.
What has Bucky done? lmao he is probably even a worst choice than Falcon. Bucky is mentally unstable and is literally still on the path of finding himself. He has too much blood on his hands to be able to fully live up to the Captain America mantel. Falcon is a better choice overall.
I would rather see Bucky play Cap he has know him for more than 100 years, literally!! Bucky just has way more experience with EVERYTHING and “Falcon” has experience with NOTHING!

they can never replace a character like steve. i personally don’t like chris evans as a person, but he’s the only one meant to play the role of steve rogers. that’s just something they can’t replace. this isn’t spider-man.

Steve Rogers is basically irreplaceable as Captain America due to his pure heart. We still haven't seen enough of Falcon to judge or compare him to Steve but based on what we know, he is not "ready". Now if I had to choose between Falcon and Bucky, then Falcon takes it all the way.

I said no but I'm disappointed in the comments here. Bucky is the least deserving of the shield compared to Sam (Falcon). Bucky is not only mentally unstable but even he admits that he is still trying to find himself. He is not ready for the Captain America role.

It's not that Anthology Mackie isn't good, it's just that NO ONE can replace Steve Rogers, Captain America was him. he was chosen not The Falcon. and Bucky should have gotten the shield, he deserved it the most. he has known Steve since they were kids and would have never given the shield away.

captain america is a title and anyone can do it. we didnt call chris "white cap". he gave the shield to sam because he believed he can do it, and he can. hence the show and future movies
