Commented "Only time can really tell whether this is the right decision for his future. He has top 10 potential but could fall as low as undrafted if he plays poorly and gets benched. He must have his personal reasons for staying and that should be good enough for him."

Commented "The only thing keeping Manning from playing next year will be his body as he is a competitor at heart. But that is an odd thing to consider with the quad injury he hid. Barring health, I still don't see Manning suiting up for Denver next year as I think the team will want to go in favor of Osweiler to see what they have in the guy before his rookie contract is up. Manning in turn will have to hang up his cleats a Bronco or look for work elsewhere."
