82 degree's, that's just nuts. 65 in the winter and 73 in the summer.

I set my thermometer at 64. I like to be cold and have covers over me. It is healthier to sleep in cooler temps.

My bedroom stays between 67 and 73 year round without AC and wood stove in Winter.

I turn my A/C off at night and use ceiling and floor fans.

Unless your AC is a window unit, I bet the AC would be more efficient

We keep ours at 75 if needed in the afternoon to early evening. Our house is well insulated. Our heat pump is efficient.
