All the talk of toughness, etc. doesn't mean dominating the line of scrimmage, a nasty mean defense, and a ball control off that is run-oriented, all the things we once had with TO and FS. I'll take those things in lieu of wins. "

Replied "After hearing the press conf, I have to double-down on my thumbs down. He was obviously well-rehearsed to say all the things most people wanted to hear, but there was nothing of real substance. No idea what the team's identity will be but doesn't sound like ball control. I miss the TO and FS days."

Replied "Good point. If Rhule was so good, why did he leave Temple or BU? One could argue for the $, but he’s obviously not committed to a program for the long run. He played TA for a fool but unfortunately Rhule held all the cards bc TA was desperate. "
