One of the best alternative uniforms they have ever had.

One of the best alternate uniforms to come along. No reflective surfaces, seems to be designed with hard hitting football in mind. Like the tip of hat to the Blackshirts. Randy Milhoan, Vail, CO

Black looks sharp. Still Scarlett and Cream fan, but this uniform once a year is cool. Better make sure they play like true blackshirts, however.

This time the uniforms at least look like football uniforms, not some goofy design.

To honor a tradition created by Black Shirts. One game from eleven isn't so bad. Never go back to all red. I still like the Scarlet and Cream uni's.

I think it’s great they have given some cred to the Blackshirts tradition....they look kind of ominous! (but not as scary as the Bugeater ones they have for next year) GO BLACKSHIRTS AND GO BIG RED!

I’m not inclined to deviate from the traditional Husker uniforms but this one looks bad ass!! Best of the alternate uniforms to date. I like it.

These suck. I could have come up with better in 5 minutes. We need Nike. Adidas has NO talent in this area. Absolutely none.

No Red N but the straps are Red? Pass. The Blackshirts didn't get their reputation off uniform patches, they kicked ass!

adidas just plain sucks. They could do so much better and fail 8 out of 10 times. good luck for the next 11 years!

I think our offense will score a lot more points than last year and the defense will shut more teams down on 3rd downs.

Tough teams on the schedule, and Scott has not proven his coaching abilities as of yet.

Give him time to see if he can figure out a winning formula here. It's not like anyone else has been successful. Not much to lose. It's too bad there has been so little success. I think Husker fans would be overly supportive of the program especially with some improvement.

Let's face it. With a few rare exceptions, Husker basketball has never been better than mediocre at best. Let's give Fred plenty of runway to turn things around. We certainly don't have much to lose (pun not intended).
