Possibly, but Matt Rhule will not be successful without a run first offense. He has always misrepresented his intentions for a run first attack since he has been here. He has destroyed the Spring Game, the run game, the defense, and his hires have been bad.

ReplyI think they almost have to. I think the offense will be more consistent this year and that would mean at least the same number of yards and not all of those yards can come from passing.

ReplyPretty low bar to have all running backs get over 80 yards per game. It’s telling on the state of the program that this is even a question. With that said, I think Rhule has the program aimed in the right direction and offseason improvements should provide surprises for the naysayers.
